I, too, am grieving the loss of one of our cats last month and a best friend, also to cancer, this month. Grieving is such an individual thing. I didn’t think it would be like this. I keep telling myself to perk up and get on with life. Another part of me says no, not ready.
I’m truly sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet furry family members. Please take good care of yourself. ❤️🩹🐾
Louise, thank you for these kind words. I’m so sorry for your loss. You’re right that grief is individual — both to the person and the loss, I’d say. I hope you’re able to grant yourself whatever space you need as you go through it.
My sincere condolences for your great loss. Our family lost our beloved dogs over years of unconditional love and so I truly empathize with the hurt and grief. It isn’t cliche to say you lost family because you have and I am truly sorry they had to pass. My sympathy is offered with understanding.
Robin. If I could, I would send you warm and quiet stillness. Thank you for sharing with us. I can’t describe what reading these words just did to me. I will be saving this to share with clients during grief.
There are no words Robin. Achingly beautiful. So sorry to hear about your cats, and I hope you have everything you need as you navigate this particular portal. Much love xx
Oh, sweet Robin. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’m glad to know that you’re taking some time to slow down and feel then heal. Here for you if you want to talk. Losing these precious beings who’ve graced our lives with their clarity and ability to communicate without words is so painful and always leaves me feeling that I’ve lost some essential parts of myself. And then I remember that the next right thing to do is to find another beautiful soul to love. Be well my friend. Will be thinking of you.
Oh Robin, My heart goes out to you. Each loss of a beloved fur person leaves such a huge rip in the fabric of our lives, even time will not ever really mend, but in time all the blessings and love will return as memories to make the wound bearable…for now, please take care of yourself♥️
Ohhhhhhhhh. I am so sorry, Robin. It is truly the very worst thing to lose the ones we love. My heart goes out to you. And thank you for the beautiful essay.
