If you really mean it you can absolutely get the reef print, both the color and BW version are available at the Pangea Seed Foundation website! Let me know and I can send you the link!!
Keffiyeh is a pencil drawing actually, you can see. The progress photos on my website ⭐️
Hi Lidija, I went to the Pangea foundation link and I am from India - I want to get the print, is it possible to get it shipped? Should I check on the link directly, lmk xx
Additionally, please do share the link, I will go ahead on that just to be sure.
Lidija's journey to becoming an artist at 33 is incredibly inspiring. It challenges the notion that artistic talent is always innate and present from childhood. Her story shows that creativity can be discovered at any age, and that sometimes, the most unconventional paths lead to the most fulfilling destinations.
I've told myself often that I'm too old to start with some type of art... I should maybe reexamine that belief. Thank you ❤️
You are definitely not too late!!! I started ice skating at 43. My mom started playing around with arty stuff when she was looking for fun activities to do with my kid. Talent is not exactly a myth, but it’s more like one ingredient to a very complex pie recipe. You can honestly bake the pie without it and it can still be a really good pie :) 🥧
Thanks to the tireless Robin for bringing this wonderful interview with Lidija to the community🙏♥️
Lidija, I remain in awe of your wise grounded humane insights on creativity, art, living as fully as we deserve and more. Thank you for paying forward with your beautiful designs to support the people of Palestine♥️ I am looking forward to gifting myself a piece of your soulful work! Perhaps as consolation for the terrible writing pieces I have been drafting😹
Heyyy be sure to submit the terrible pieces to the Terrible Art Review!! Honestly usually when we make something we think is terrible we can uncover a lot of great qualities in it if we squint the right way 😅
Heyyyy it's up!! Thanks so much for this awesome interview, Robin! It was a joy!
And if anyone does take up the challenge and creates the terrible artworks, please please share them with me! I would adore to see them.
Oh my gosh, me too! Terrible art is its own special joy.
Beautiful. As an artist myself, I can truly feel the weight of each word. Loved it!
And the art in itself, wow wow wow. Words fail me. I’m a diver and the reef art was beyond beautiful. Wish I could get it for my house.
@lidija - is the keffiyeh art painted or is it a picture you’ve clicked 😨
Thank you so much!!
