Ha! 9 out of 10 updates would probably be, "Everything is exactly the same as yesterday." Then maybe on the 10th update, we'd have a new millimeter of growth to share.

Growth not being linear something I really needed to hear today! As someone with a chronic illness, I often feel like I’m “behind” (ambiguously by some mysterious metric I’ve made up in my head).

Sweet baby! Please do share his non-linear progress. My kid used to be enthralled by lithopses, I’m sad to say we have murdered many. But they did sometimes unexpectedly and delightfully thrive 💚

I confess I killed two Lithops plants before I managed to keep this one alive. I was overconfident because I have lots of other plants. If nothing else, my Lithops keeps me humble!

Thanks Jana! It's a helpful reminder for me, too. Sometimes growth doesn't seem to come at all, and then it suddenly surprises you.
