Tapioca pudding
A one-sentence story

When I was a kid, my dad used to tell a funny story about how his dad once dumped a bowl of tapioca pudding on his head for taking a too-big portion, and we’d all laugh around the dinner table, and it was only decades later that I realized it’s not funny at all, and I can’t help but wonder, how many other “funny” stories from my childhood are actually terrible?
What’s a One Sentence Story?
My friend Robin Taylor (he/him) has been writing One Sentence Stories every day in December, and he’s inspired me to join him. These stories are all true, and yes, they’re probably full of run-on sentences. But hey, as long as it’s just one sentence, it counts! Want to join the fun? Tag us both so we can read along and share!

Actually so powerful!! Sums up much of my childhood stories too!
Most of them. Take the time I 'ate the whole cake in the tin' becuase I ate the last slice of cake in the tin. Just a 'funny' way of saying that I was a greedy girl and should've known better than to grab all those carbs.
